Join researchers from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for a conversation on May 12, 2026, at 7 PM ET about how children from the MOMS Study are doing now as teens and young adults.

The MOMS studies compared two approaches to myelomeningocele (MMC) repair:
🔹 Surgery before birth
🔹 Surgery after birth

Earlier research followed children through early childhood. Now, MOMS 3 is exploring outcomes during the teen and young adult years, focusing on health, independence, mobility, and everyday life as children grow older.

During this session, the CHOP team will:
✨ Explain the earlier MOMS studies in simple terms
📊 Share what they’ve learned so far
🔍 Discuss the new MOMS 3 study
🤝 Explain how families can participate if interested

This is a valuable opportunity to learn, ask questions, and see how your family’s experience can help improve care for future generations. Families are welcome, and all questions are encouraged.
