What is Dharma Yoga?
Dharma Yoga is a graceful yet challenging system of classical Hatha-Raja Yoga, developed by legendary yoga master Sri Dharma Mittra. Born in Brazil in 1939, Sri Dharma Mittra dedicated over 50 years of his life to the direct experience and dissemination of yoga as a holy science. After intense study with his guru, Yogi Gupta, in New York City starting in 1964, he founded one of the early independent yoga schools, the Dharma Yoga Center, in 1975. His teachings emphasize good health, a clear mind, and a kind heart, integrating all eight limbs of yoga with a strong focus on ethical living (Yamas and Niyamas). It’s a devotional practice that encourages students to move towards Self-realization through various techniques, including postures, breathwork, philosophy, and meditation. In this workshop, you’ll dive into the classical teachings of Sri Dharma Mittra in a devotional yet playful practice. You’ll experience Pranayama (breathwork), Asana (postures), Philosophy, and Meditation to balance your body, mind, and spirit.

🚨DUMPED WITH HER ENTIRE FAMILY. LOST HER BABIES, DOESN’T WANT TO LOSE HER LIFE MONDAY TOO😭

Pixie is a 5-year-old shepherd who came into the shelter with her four puppies and their dad. While her family has been split apart, Pixie remains shut down and fearful inside the shelter. She keeps her distance and seems unsure of what’s happening, but her body language shows she’s not aggressive: just overwhelmed. She needs someone patient who will go slow and give her a calm space to decompress. This sweet mama deserves the chance to know safety and kindness again.

🆘Fort Worth is in a capacity crisis. Dogs are not being extended. They need confirmed fosters or adopters by the deadline. Great dogs are out of time: act fast.
