🌟 **Meet Your New Best Friend: The Elevated Psoas March!** 🌟

Ladies, tired of feeling like a stiff marionette? Say hello to the psoas march — your secret weapon for better posture, hip mobility, and maybe even a little extra spring in your step! Plus, it’s so simple, you can do it in your pajamas. 😉

**Why do the psoas march?**
- Boosts core stability (hello, flatter tummy!)
- Improves hip mobility (goodbye stiffness)
- Supports lower back health (because ouch is not your vibe)
- Keeps you feeling fabulous and functional!

**How to do it (with Melissa’s elevated heels and band around her feet):**
1. Lie on your back, with your heels elevated (on a small block or cushion) and the band around your feet.
2. Keep your knees bent and core engaged.
3. Lift one knee toward your chest, keeping tension on the band.
4. Lower it back down, then repeat with the other leg.
5. Aim for 2-3 sets of 10-15 reps — easy peasy!

**Who benefits?**
If you’re middle-aged, feeling a bit “meh” in your hips or back, or just want to stay moving comfortably, this exercise is your new bestie.

Why swap pasta for spaghetti squash? Let me count the ways!👇

For one, this winter squash is in season right now and packed with nutrients like vitamin C and B vitamins.

The best part? When you cook and shred spaghetti squash, it “magically” transforms into a delicious noodle alternative!

If you’re focusing on clean eating, spaghetti squash is a great addition to your meals.

Second, it’s easy to prepare!

All you have to do is…
👉 Slice it in half
👉 Scoop out the seeds
👉 Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, and roast for 40-45 minutes

Then scrape out the strands with a fork and serve with your favorite sauce. Perfect for cozy, winter meals!

Ever let perfectionism get in your way of starting something new? 🙋‍♀️

When it comes to getting back into shape, it’s easy to get caught up in overthinking.

You see tons of tips on social media…

You hear lots of different advice from friends and family…

And if you’re not careful, you can end up stuck, waiting for the “perfect” time or plan to begin.

But here’s the thing…

Consider that you just need to START.

My clients always tell me they wish they had started sooner.

Even small steps like going for a 10-minute walk can create a ripple effect of progress over time!

It’s thinking that sticking to the same routine will keep delivering results.

If your goal is increasing your strength small adjustments can lead to big improvements over time.

That means paying attention to what your body is telling you and making changes when needed — without feeling like you have to overhaul everything at once.

Because in the long run?

It’s those little tweaks that create lasting results.

Need a quick reboot to get back on track? ⤵️⤵️⤵️

Over the years, I’ve realized that busy seasons like this call for a little extra support.

In my case, I like to plan my days ahead of time so I can get a workout in and make sure I’ve got healthy food in the fridge.

But it wasn’t always like that!

Are you letting your past determine your future?

Studies have shown that MOST of our core belief systems and limiting beliefs are established by the age of seven…

Which means if we don’t question those belief systems, we end up living out stories that no longer serve us.

When it comes to transforming your physique, those old beliefs might be telling you things like eating carbs will make you fat…or it’s too late to get started.

Just because you’ve thought those things before, or you were exposed to them at some point during your life… that doesn’t mean they are true.

And the beautiful thing is that you CAN rewrite those beliefs.

I’ve seen so many clients go from feeling like they were stuck in a cycle of yo-yo dieting and frustration to learning how to trust their bodies and build sustainable, healthy habits that last...

And I wholeheartedly believe you can too.

It starts by questioning the beliefs that have been holding you back, and DECIDING to believe something new.

One of the most important pieces of getting the body you want at any age is simply finding ways to feel good more of the time.

Think about it…

Isn’t it easier to get to the gym when you already feel good?

One of the best ways to do that is to start and end your day with intention.

Instead of letting the day decide how it’s going to go…

YOU can decide how it’s going to go.

At the end of the day, you can reflect and keep improving!

If you’re working on building strength, the key isn’t in finding the perfect plan…

It’s showing up and doing it.

That might mean:

✅Blocking off time on your calendar so no one can book you for a call when you’ve planned to do a workout

✅Sticking to your meal plan when you’d rather go out to eat

✅ Or going to sleep by 10 instead of scrolling because you promised yourself you’d stick to a certain bedtime

Not only will you get closer to your goals…

But you’ll start to feel more confident and build more trust with yourself.
