Cake makes life ✨batter✨! 🎂

We challenged ourselves this week by making our very own cake pops! Admittedly, they didn't turn out exactly how we imagined, but it was still tons of fun, and of course they were still delicious. We certainly had a lot of laughs and smiles! 😄

Sometimes you’ve just got to stop and smell the flowers… 💐

We have been getting so many lovely donations of flowers lately, and have enjoyed and cherished each bouquet that we receive! 💕

Below are some Dahlias that a wonderful community member donated to us, along with some gorgeous bouquets donated by another fantastic community member as well!

Thank you so much for the wonderful donations and for putting a big smile on our faces!

What’s better than being at beach? Eating a cookie that looks like the beach, of course!! 😋🍪

Today we tried out our cookie decorating skills by creating these ADORABLE beach scenes on some delicious sugar cookies!

What an incredible week! 😮‍💨
For the month of August, we celebrated our annual Luau! 🌺
This week was packed with themed outfits, summer festivities, and delightful treats. We wanted to end the week with a BANG on Friday, so we hosted our own version of Bingo, served up some delicious Hawaiian Haystacks for lunch, cheered on our staff during a watermelon-eating contest, and had a blast with some cool tie-dye activities! 😁

Happy Friday!
We recently took yet another trip to the famous Snow Goose Produce farmers market in Mount Vernon. As you might be able to tell, this is becoming a fan favorite place of ours and we just cannot say enough nice things about them and their ice cream!
This was such a well deserved treat on a sunny hot day, and the scenic drive was just the cherry on top!
We look forward to going back soon 😋

We loved our time last month at Snow Goose Produce in Mount Vernon, that we decided to go again this month! There were tons of smiles and full bellies all around, and we even made sure to go the extra scenic route for a much more enjoyable ride.
It's always such a challenge to pick through all their amazing flavors but just know that no matter which one you pick, you will not be disappointed! 😋🍦

🌸🌼 Our residents have been busy creating beautiful flower arrangements to brighten up our dining room tables!

Each bouquet is a testament to their creativity and love for our community. After their floral masterpiece session, they indulged in some hand-crafted Shirley Temples—refreshing and delightful!

One of our favorite activities at Arlington Health and Rehabilitation is without a doubt our monthly birthday party, which is only complete with some show-stopping ice cream cake! Yum! 😋🍦

Listening to our residents share their incredible life stories and achievements is truly the cherry on top. Each year brings new adventures and joy... so here’s to more laughter, fun, and cherished memories with our amazing community! 🌟

We recently visited the Snow Goose Produce Stand in Mount Vernon, famous for its delicious ice cream!
Our residents enjoyed a wonderful selection of flavors and the gorgeous drive to and from. A huge thank you is owed to our Maintenance Director, Dennis, for being our driver for this lovely outing!
