🩺 Meet Benny S. Kim, MD

Dr. Kim is a Neurointerventional Surgeon and Vascular Neurologist, as well as a founding member of the VHC Health Neurology department. Dr. Kim performs the full spectrum of Neurointerventional procedures, including endovascular aneurysm treatment, mechanical thrombectomy for strokes, cerebral and spinal angiograms, endovascular treatment for dural arteriovenous fistulas, and embolization procedures of the head, neck, and spine. Clinically, Dr. Kim is interested in managing the most complex or critically ill cerebrovascular patients.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a complex condition influenced by factors including gut-brain interaction, diet and gut microbiome. In this video, Dr. Haque, Director of Gastroenterology, explains how stress and IBS are connected.

Stress increases the speed which food is pushed through your GI track causing uncomfortableness and is challenging to diagnosis. Dr. Haque recommends daily physical exercise and spending time with loved ones to help alleviate stress.
