Colorectal Cancer is one of the most preventable cancers when detected early and treated. The suggested screening age for colon cancer is now 45 years old and as a result, there have been significantly fewer cases of colon cancer in people 50+, as potentially cancerous polyps can be detected at an earlier stage.
