Let me introduce myself. I am Christie, aka “The Crazy Creator”. I am the founder and formulator here.
My daughter, Jessica, is the mastermind of graphics, labelling and everything social media. She is 23 years old and is hipper to the social trendiness of the internet than I am.
My mom, Linda, aka “Susie”, is the paper pusher out of the group. She prefers to be unseen and unheard.
We make up the working team of 3-Gen Bath & Beauty LLC. We are the three generations that make up this wonderful and fabulous world of bath and beauty. It is our goal to encourage people to love their skin, love everyone they meet and to absolutely accept everyone for their own crazy, fun-loving selves for who we all are.
What do we do?
We make all-natural bath, body and beauty products for those who want an alternative to the commercially sold detergents found in stores.
How did this all come about?
My mom and I were talking one day, and she told me she had been diagnosed with lichen sclerosis, which is a long-term skin problem that generally appear in post-menopausal women and affects their ge***al area. It is generally eased by a cortical steroid cream prescribed by a doctor; however, my mom was telling me this cream did not work for her. I came home and read everything I could on the internet about this problem.
I then took my love of chemistry to include all-natural oils and clays to try and come up with something that could ease her suffering. I did find something that helped, but I was not able to make it user-friendly; however, my mom decided to use it anyway. It helped alleviate her pain and swelling enough to where the cream, prescribed by the doctor, could work better for her. I am not providing a medical cure. I am simply saying I was able to help in the process to where the medical community could help her further. There is not a cure for her condition, but while I believe the medical community is necessary, I do believe there are things we can do to aid in our own healing.
I then took this new-found obsession of mine and started making soaps, body butters, lotions, lip balms and anything else I could find that could help others. I have always had a fascination with the natural order of things and the circle of life. I found that this could be benefiting others.
For example, a lady I know, Rochelle, was complaining about the winters down here in Texas and how her hands were drying and cracking from the cold. I gave her a full bar of my natural, unscented soap. A few weeks later, she told me her hands were back to normal and she does not allow anyone else to use her soap. I take this as the highest praise I could possibly receive. I was so happy I was able to help her.
My Personal Philosophy:
I believe we can change the world!! I believe there is too much nastiness in the world and I say together we can change it. I believe we can love each other, accept each other and help one another and we can make the world a pretty place. I know soap and beauty products are not actually going to change the world, but it can make people happy and that can reflect on how we treat each other. I believe the Earth provides all we need to survive. I believe in recycling and taking care of our planet, so it can take care of us. Most of all, I believe in all of us.
My Faults:
Yes, I have them. I have no sense of smell. I was born without it. I have never had it. The only thing in this world I can smell is Ammonia. Don’t worry, the bath and beauty products do not smell anything like ammonia. Lol. The reason I mention this is because when I come up with a new recipe if you do not like the way it smells, please send me an email and let me know, I would rather send you a different product than to have negative comments. I am not sensitive about not having a sense of smell, but I do wish for this website to be as positive as possible.
I love you all and thank you ever so much for taking the time to read about us. Have a fabulous day.
