Jones, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist with fellowship training in cosmetic and procedural dermatology. She is a native of the Washington, DC area. After graduating summa cm laude from Cornell University, Dr. Jones received her M.D. from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was elected by faculty to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. A
fter medical school, Dr. Jones completed a medicine internship at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center and her dermatology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell. Following residency, she was selected to complete a prestigious Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship accredited by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) in San Diego, CA. Under the internationally renown Dr. Mitchel Goldman and his colleagues, Dr. Jones mastered the latest and most advanced techniques in neurotoxins (Botox), fillers, laser therapy, body contouring, fat reduction, skin tightening, vein treatment, and non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation. She has authored numerous medical articles and textbook chapters in both the general and aesthetic dermatologic literature and has presented at multiple national conferences. Dr. Jones has also been involved in cutting-edge research to advance the field of cosmetic dermatology, including clinical trials on Coolsculpting, Kybella, fillers for “skin boosting” and chest rejuvenation, sclerotherapy, microfocused-ultrasound, radiofrequency, and lasers for photoaged skin. She serves a leadership position in the Women’s Dermatologic Society and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and ASDS. Dr. Jones speaks fluent Portuguese and is also proficient in Spanish. Along with her husband, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, hiking, playing volleyball, and traveling abroad.
