Office Statement Regarding COVID 19:
In order to mitigate risks to the provider in the office as well as all of our
patients, we will be implementing extra precautions effective immediately.
These extra precautions are in addition to standard sanitizing and cleaning protocols that
are already in place.
-While you are encouraged to try and maintain your care plan, there will be special instructions for those who are expressing symptoms and still choose to receive care. See below.
- Please understand that the CDC criteria for managing potential COVID-19 patients is that:
"Mildly ill patients should be encouraged to stay home and contact their healthcare provider by phone for guidance about clinical management".
-If you and/or your children have no known contact with, and are not expressing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (including productive cough, non-productive cough, bronchitis, respiratory infection, sore throat, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, severe fatigue not associated with travel, myalgia and arthralgia) you will be scheduled during normal business hours.
-Patients that are expressing any of the above symptoms are asked to contact the office and we will reschedule to a time when we are able to ensure more time between patients for sanitization and less density in the waiting area.
-Patients that are over 50 or immunocompromised, please be in touch if you would like to reschedule to a different time when there is less traffic in the office.
Please understand, these measures are out of an abundance of caution. Our provider cannot continue to work and help care for the community if exposed to this virus, and we would not wish that for any of our practice members either. Please do not hesitate to call with questions or concerns.
