Responsibilities:
Providing mental health counseling services to couples (50%), families (25%) and individuals (25%) with an emphasis on the whole-person approach.
Working closely with clients, parents, teachers and coordinating with other healthcare providers.
Developing and coordinating a clinical treatment program for the diagnosis and treatment of clients dealing with emotional and/or mental health problems.
Preparing reports as needed; assisting providers in coordinating care for selected patients.
Qualifications:
Valid Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Independent Clinical Social Worker license with the State of Washington. Christian-based background and understanding desired per clientele preference. Training and experience in several counseling methods and techniques. Ability to provide counseling services to the general population; having experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Ability to diagnose and treat patients. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with other providers and referral sources.
Logistics:
Variable schedule depending on experience and assigned caseload. Position Classification: Contract for Counseling Services. Compensation for contract services: depends on experience and caseload.
