A bone graft procedure is simpler than you might think! During the procedure, Dr. Patel will place a small amount of bone in the area that needs strengthening. Over time, your body naturally fuses with the new bone, creating a strong foundation for a future dental implant. We're giving your jaw a little extra support so it can fuse with the implant while protecting your surrounding teeth. If you’re missing a tooth, dental implants can help restore both function and confidence. Unlike dentures or bridges, implants are placed directly into the jawbone, mimicking the natural structure of a tooth. This not only makes them look and feel like real teeth but also helps maintain jawbone health over time.
