Who We Are:
The North Central Texas Aging and Disability Resource Center (NCTADRC) is an inter-agency initiative, funded by a special grant from the Texas Department of Aging and Disability, and supported by a number of lead and partner agencies. They include the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Regional Local Services, the North Central Texas Area Agency on Aging, United Way of Hood County, United Way of Denton County, REACH Resource Centers on Independent Living, LifePath Systems, Denton County MHMR, and Pecan Valley MHMR. The NCTADRC has more than 50 partner agencies. Although the terms of partnership vary, each partner agency designates at least LLP one staff person who agrees to serve as a resource to professionals or consumers who need human services. In addition, partner agencies may help conduct or participate in training and promote ADRC events. The NCTADRC serves fourteen counties in the greater North Texas area including Collin, Denton, Wise, Parker, Palo Pinto, Erath, Hood, Somerville, Johnson, Navarro, Ellis, Kaufman, Hunt and Rockwell.
