Tis the season! Happy National Handwashing Awareness Week!
With many viral and bacterial germs floating around this season, prevent illness and the spread of germs by ensuring to wash your hands properly to protect yourself and loved ones! Germs can travel from surface to surface just as common as they travel from one individual to another.
The CDC recommends their “Do-It Yourself Vaccine” in maintaining proper hygiene!
What’s the “Do-It Yourself Vaccine” Method?
Step 1: Wet your hands with water and apply soap.
Step 2: Lather your hands between your fingers and palms.
Step 3: Scrub for at least 20 seconds!
Step 4: Rinse
Step 5: Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dryer!
*If soap is not available, use hand sanitizer!
If you are having any symptoms such as fevers, body aches, chills, coughing, sinus pressure, and fatigue – Vista Medical Center is open year round and can provide you with rapid test results and evaluations for any of your concerns!
