Mental Health Month Challenge-
Your mind needs rest to heal, recharge, and stay emotionally balanced. Today’s challenge is simple: create healthier sleep habits.

Better sleep improves mood, focus, stress management, and emotional resilience.

-Make your bed a sleep haven
Avoid paying bills, working, or handling stressful tasks in bed. Train your brain to connect your bed with rest, peace, and relaxation.

- Can’t fall asleep?
If you’re still awake after about 15 minutes, try calming music or another soothing activity. If you remain alert, experts recommend getting up for a short time until you begin to feel sleepy again.

Tonight, give yourself permission to rest. Your mental health matters.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make Together for Mental Health 2026: From Remembrance to Resilience such a meaningful and impactful evening.

Special thanks to our incredible partners and sponsors American Sons, Graham Associates, Inc. Cheryl Bean for Texas, My Health My Resources of Tarrant County, and Look Cinemas for helping us create a space where meaningful conversations about mental health, resilience, healing, and hope could take place. Positive Actions International is honored to lead the mental Health Awareness Month campaign for Arlington TX.

To our speakers and panelists, former Mayor Williams, Councilman Mauricio Galante, CAPT John Scott, Councilman Bryant Griffith, and Rep. Tony Tinderholt, thank you for sharing your hearts, experiences, and wisdom so openly. Your words brought encouragement and perspective to the evening in a way that people will remember long after the event ended.

This year’s theme, “From Remembrance to Resilience,” felt especially meaningful as we watched the American Sons film in recognition of the 25th anniversary of 9/11. It gave us an opportunity to reflect on service, sacrifice, healing, unity, and the resilience of the human spirit.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event. Together, we continue creating conversations that remind people they are not alone and that hope and healing are always possible.
