It's been a while and I apologize. Moved to another state and things have been a little bit chaotic. Its finally starting to settle down! I am taking inspiration from a friend and committing to one post a month for the next 6 months. I am starting things off with what I think is a very important topic that I tackle daily in my office.
This multi-systemic explanation of the "Burnout Generation" is liberating, eye-opening and shocking. Our society has become so unbalanced over the last 2 or 3 generations. Recognizing that the problem is systemic and perpetuated by societal structure does not have to feel hopeless, but rather comes as a relief. The message: We are not alone, there may be no immediate solution, but mostly, don't take life too seriously. Thank you to a wonderful client for sharing this...

I couldnât figure out why small, straightforward tasks on my to-do list felt so impossible. The answer is both more complex and far simpler than I expected.
