Celebrating the Heart of Our Hospital ❤️

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, our Executive Team made special rounds across the Texas Health Southwest and Texas Health Clearfork campuses to celebrate the incredible employees who make exceptional care possible every day.

To share a little sweetness, leaders delivered beautifully decorated cookies crafted by our talented Food & Nutrition Services team — a small gesture to honor the big impact our caregivers have on our patients and community.

Recognizing and uplifting our employees isn’t reserved for holidays. Valentines simply gave us another chance to show how much we value the people who bring skill, compassion and heart to everything they do.

We love this!

For 68 years, Texas Health Arlington Memorial has stood as more than a place of care, it has been a cornerstone of healing, hope and unwavering commitment to our community.

Since its doors first opened, generations of physicians, nurses, caregivers, staff and volunteers have answered the sacred call to serve. Through moments of joy and moments of uncertainty, through medical breakthroughs and community challenges, this hospital has remained steady, guided by compassion, excellence, and an enduring promise to care for every person who walks through its doors.

Sixty-eight years represents thousands of lives touched, families comforted, milestones celebrated and quiet acts of kindness that may never make headlines but change lives forever. It represents innovation, growth and a vision carried forward, always building for the future while honoring the legacy of those who came before.

To our healthcare heroes past and present, your dedication has shaped a culture where clinical excellence meets heartfelt compassion. To our community, your trust inspires us every single day.

The story is not about how long we have served, but how deeply we have cared.

Here’s to celebrating kindness, connection and the incredible people who make our organization what it is.

Members of our leadership team at Texas Health Southlake recently surprised their employees with mini Valentine’s cards and sweet candy treats—just a small way to say thank you for the hard work, dedication, and heart they bring every single day.

The smiles, laughter and genuine appreciation were the best part of the day. It’s amazing what a simple gesture can do to brighten a shift and remind our teams how valued they truly are.

We love this! 💙💚

Get to know Texas Health! Meet Tina Tran, a patient care technician in the Emergency Department and a team member on the DECON team at Texas Health Fort Worth. Tina is in our employee spotlight and talks about how she uses the power of language to serve our patient population in an impactful way.

When asked what does a typical workday look like, Tina said, “We stay incredibly busy, seeing between 250 and 400 patients daily. My assignments vary from working with the emergency team handling our most critical patients to diagnostic areas, triage and quick care. I take vitals, assist with procedures, perform phlebotomy, splints, EKGs, CPR, and everything in between. Since I also lend some of my time to being a Qualified Bilingual Interpreter (QBI), every day is fast-paced and unpredictable but deeply rewarding. I couldn’t do it without the incredible support of my team. They’re always understanding and willing to step in so we can provide the best care possible. It’s truly a team effort."

Our team members are awesome!

Congratulations to Texas Health Denton for earning the Comprehensive Heart Attack Center certification from Joint Commission, offered in collaboration with American Heart Association. Texas Health Denton is just the third hospital in Texas and one of fewer than 20 hospitals in the nation to receive a prestigious heart attack care certification.

“This achievement required hard work, dedication and compassion from the entire care team,” said Stephanie Adams, M.S.N., R.N., Heart and Vascular Service Line director at Texas Health Denton. “It demonstrates that our patients receive high-quality care from a multidisciplinary team — from the identification and treatment of cardiovascular disease to the prevention and treatment of heart attacks, and finally, to recovery and cardiac rehabilitation.”

What a great accomplishment!
