Commissioner Roderick Miles extends a warm invitation for you to join us at this transformative community event. As a valued partner, your presence-along with that of other key agencies-will add meaningful insight and benefit greatly from the shared learning experience.

Please make plans to attend Commissioner Miles’ Inaugural Trauma & Resiliency Symposium on May 2, 2026, at Tarrant County College-Trinity River Campus, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This powerful convening will center on trauma‑informed care, resilience-building, and community healing.

This dynamic symposium will bring together community members, educators, mental health professionals, healthcare providers, faith leaders, nonprofit organizations, public safety personnel, and advocates to explore evidence‑based strategies that strengthen families and transform systems.

Through an inspiring keynote presentation, educational breakout sessions, and mindfulness activities, attendees will gain practical tools to recognize trauma, respond with empathy, and cultivate resilience across Tarrant County.

More than a conference, this gathering is a call to action-advancing a trauma‑wise, resilience‑informed community rooted in hope, equity, and lasting impact.
