At Exhale817, we are influenced by many styles of yoga, from Ashtanga and Iyengar-based practices to Yin and restorative flows. However, Bikram Yoga holds a unique place in the yoga world as the style that truly ignited the hot yoga movement. This special one-time class, led by the experienced Kim McNelis, will take you through the classic 26-pose sequence with 2 breathing exercises. Bikram Yoga is traditionally practiced without music to allow for full focus and connection with your breath. While the room is typically heated to 104°F, we’ll modify it to 95°F for this event. Designed to promote flexibility, strength, and mental focus, this 90-minute session offers an opportunity to challenge yourself and explore a transformative style of yoga in a welcoming and supportive space. Francesca, a retired attorney from New York, has been dedicated to yoga for over a decade and is now a certified Bikram Yoga instructor. With a passion for movement that extends beyond the hot room, she enjoys tennis, dancing, skiing, and exploring the world through travel. Francesca is also an experienced children's yoga teacher, deeply committed to nurturing both physical and mental well-being through her practice. She believes in the transformative power of yoga and is excited to share its benefits with her students.
