ADHD shows up in more than one way, and understanding the type can make a big difference. 🧠 Some people have Inattentive ADHD ✨they struggle with focus, forget things easily, and have trouble finishing tasks (without the hyperactivity).

Others have Hyperactive/Impulsive ADHD ⚡constant movement, restlessness, or talking nonstop.

Then there's the Combined type 🔄, which includes traits from both. ADHD isn’t always loud or obvious, it's personal, and it can vary a lot from person to person. 💬

Neurodiversity reminds us that there’s no single “right” way to think, learn, or create. Whether it’s autism, ADHD, AuDHD, or other differences, each mind brings unique strengths, creativity, focus, innovation, and fresh perspectives.

By honoring individual choices and embracing differences, we create spaces where everyone can thrive. 🌟

Narcissistic outbursts and autistic traits can sometimes look similar but the intent is very different.

💥 Narcissism: put-downs and superiority.
🧩 Autism: bluntness or overwhelm, not contempt.

Understanding this difference helps us respond with clarity, set healthy boundaries, and maintain respectful relationships. ✨

I've been working on creating a set of autism / AuDHD / neurodiversity-affirming cards. Each card offers gentle, encouraging affirmations around things like self-acceptance, emotional regulation, executive functioning, social skills, sensory sensitivities, school, work, and relationships.

They’re little reminders to help you feel seen, supported, and grounded exactly as you are.

Here’s today’s card. 💛

For many neurodiverse couples, sensory overload is a daily challenge: loud noises, bright lights, or even textures can feel overwhelming. But with empathy, communication, and small adjustments, these challenges can turn into opportunities for deeper connection. 💛

When memories clash in neurodiverse relationships, it’s often not about denial or gaslighting - it’s about context blindness. 🧩

Autistic and neurotypical partners may recall the same moment very differently, leading to confusion and conflict. By understanding how our brains process and store information, couples can move from “who’s right” to “what are we not understanding?” With awareness, patience, and the right support, these differences don’t have to divide, they can become opportunities for deeper connection.
