Say hello to the newest member of the Peak Performance team, JJ Martinez!

JJ is a graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. He has a strong passion for orthopedic and sports-related injuries, with a particular focus on throwing mechanics and power development in overhead athletes.
Before pursuing a career in physical therapy, JJ worked as a high school teacher, baseball coach, and strength and conditioning coach—experiences that now inform his holistic and functional approach to rehabilitation. He is excited to bring this diverse background into his new role at Peak Performance and Physical Therapy, helping athletes and active individuals get back to doing what they love.
Outside the clinic, JJ is a dedicated husband and an expectant father to his first baby girl, Olyvia. When he’s not playing music with his brother-in-law, he’s likely on the mat learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or staying active by playing just about any sport.
