He evaluates and surgically treats problems of the knee, shoulder, and elbow. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is also the team physician for the Potomac Nationals Minor League Baseball Team and has also been a team physician for the Washington Nationals Baseball Team. He is a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Shoulder and Elbow Society and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. Dr. Nagda has expertise in complex problems of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. He has particular interest and expertise in arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery, shoulder instability surgery, Tommy John surgery, and shoulder replacements. He performs both regular shoulder replacements and reverse shoulder replacements, used mainly for patients with arthritis and irreparable rotator cuff tears. He is often consulted by other orthopaedic surgeons on complex and revision cases. Dr. Nagda also has advanced training and expertise in surgical procedures for the knee including anterior cruciate ligament repair and reconstruction, meniscal repair, patellofemoral realignment surgery, and cartilage preservation techniques.
