Sameer Nagda, M.D. Dr. Sameer Nagda is a Sports Medicine and shoulder specialist at the Anderson Clinic. He is a member of the prestigious American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons.

He evaluates and surgically treats problems of the knee, shoulder, and elbow. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is the only member of this elite group of approximately 350 shoulder and elbow surgeons worldwide to practice in Northern Virginia.In addition to his clinical practice, he is a team physician for the United S

tates Womens National Soccer Team and travelled with the team to the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. He is also the team physician for the Potomac Nationals Minor League Baseball Team and has also been a team physician for the Washington Nationals Baseball Team. He is a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Shoulder and Elbow Society and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. Dr. Nagda has expertise in complex problems of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. He has particular interest and expertise in arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery, shoulder instability surgery, Tommy John surgery, and shoulder replacements. He performs both regular shoulder replacements and reverse shoulder replacements, used mainly for patients with arthritis and irreparable rotator cuff tears. He is often consulted by other orthopaedic surgeons on complex and revision cases. Dr. Nagda also has advanced training and expertise in surgical procedures for the knee including anterior cruciate ligament repair and reconstruction, meniscal repair, patellofemoral realignment surgery, and cartilage preservation techniques. E's shoulder has been doing great. She had a strong Volleyball season at LB, and LB Softball just played in the Patriot District Championship. All along playing National travel Volleyball with BRYC National.
