Prepping meals is easier than what we may think.
Since learning how to batch roast vegetables, bake easy scrambles and freeze pre cooked meals I think less about effort and more about the time I gained for the rest of my day.

Thereโ€™s a method to eat everything in a balanced way. Whatever your health goals are, the key word is BALANCE.

Can you relate?

I confess.. I have a Type A relationship with Life. Itโ€™s complicated ๐Ÿคช

I love it when it comes to work, showing up, trying to get better at what I do, giving myself to others and committing to challenge.

I donโ€™t love it so much when that means I feel tired, stressed, and my thoughts circle around like hamster wheels ๐Ÿคจ

Since starting to work with a personal trainer of all things.. Iโ€™ve been forced to take a closer look at how do I give myself time to reset, recover and slow down..

The thing is.. Iโ€™m finding out that it is an essential component of weight management, muscle building, mental clarity and emotional stability.

When I learned that a little tweak to my morning routine had a huge impact in blood glucose regulation I gave it a try.

It turns out that our bodies naturally produce cortisol between 6-10 am ( a stress hormone that helps you wake up) Adding caffeine immediately interferes with this natural alertness and potentially decreases it.

Tiny increments of new habits is what I teach my nutrition clients. Itโ€™s not about avoiding what you like. Itโ€™s about understanding how it can help you thrive instead of weighing you down.

1) Wall support. The wall is one of my favorite props for yoga. I love thinking of it as being on the floor but looking at it from a different angle ๐Ÿ˜€ Life is so beautiful and unpredictable that I feel today more than ever is a time to be a rebel. To look at things from the most unexpected corners and go for it fully. Love is the teacher always. Iโ€™m asking myself every morning. โ€œWho do I want to be today โ€œ?
