In the all black design, this frame plays with having both Matte, as well as Glossy, finishes throughout the frame! Today we’re taking a deeper dive into the Admiral by Balmain. In this Black/Gold colorway, the Admiral is trying to go for a louder, but sophisticated type of aesthetic. The shine of the gold giving a jewelry-esc look, with the black calming the shine down, alongside the detail that can be found on the bridge, and carried on along the temple.
