Armada Fair Part 1:

As always, the Armada Fair did not disappoint!!! We had a great day at the fair!! Thank you to our staff, volunteers and family members who came to help! A big thanks to our kitchen staff for packing us a delicious picnic lunch and to our Maintenance staff for assisting us to and from the Fair! What a great day!!

We had a great surprise on Sunday!!! A local dance team was in the area for a performance and lucky for us their performance was cancelled last minute. They called and asked if they could come and preform for our residents instead! Our Residents absolutely LOVED it!!! Thank you to the very talented dancers who entertained our residents!!! It was AWESOME!!!

🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍Thank you to our awesome social worker Shannon!!! Shannon grew this AMAZING pineapple in her office. Yesterday it was finally ready to eat! Our residents and staff got to have a slice of it, and it was DELICIOUS!!! We hope to grow some more in the future! There is nothing better than fresh pineapple! THANK YOU, SHANNON!!! 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍

WOW!!! What a day we had!! Thursday July 10th was our 1st annual Orchards at Armada Talent Extravaganza!!!! The weather held out for us, and we had some top-notch performers!! Tina Turner, Billy Joel, Stevie Nicks, Sonny & Cher, Boy George, Pat Benatar, and a few friends all sang their heats out for our residents, staff and visitors. We are already planning for next year!! We hope all of our friends and family had a great 4th of July weekend. We had a wonderful time celebrating our Country. We wore our red, white and blue, enjoyed some live music, played lots of fun games, and enjoyed fun visits from Sammy who brought the 2 cutest puppies to visit with us!!!

You Scream, I Scream, we all SCREAM for ICE CREAM at Dairy Queen!! Unfortunately, it was a rainy day so the majority of our residents choose to stay on the bus and have the staff run through the rain to get their ice cream. Even with the rain much fun was had and lots of ice cream was eaten! If you look closely at the 1st picture you can see Dave's hand as he was giving our pre ride instructions (imagine a flight attendants speech!! 🤣) We wished we got more pictures, but we were all too busy stuffing our faces!!
