Today was a beautiful day at the home as the 2026 J.Michael Morrow Memorial Pageant was held. Our Activity Directors Chrissy Bourque and Lacreasia Boudreaux did a fabulous job putting together and hosting this special event.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our beloved team members, Kirk Credeur, LPN, who served our residents for many years at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. Kirk served as more than a nurse, he was an exceptional caregiver, advocate and friend to many. His care touched the lives of countless residents, families and coworkers during his 32 years on staff. His passion for his work in long-term care and for those he served will always be remembered and cherished. We extend our deepest condolences to Kirk's family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing and working along side of him. Please keep his family, our residents and staff in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

UPDATE 4:41PM: PHONE LINES HAVE BEEN RESTORED.

The main phone lines at the nursing home are currently down. There is a main grid line in North Louisiana that has been compromised by the weather causing the issue. Cellular devices are still up and running.

We will keep everyone up to date as more information is available.
