🙋🏽‍♀️ Yes, it’s me! I’m here! And when I’m not here, I’m usually studying for my MSN Program or caring for families from pregnancy to postpartum and holding space for the joy, loss, hugs, warm cups of tea, and milestones that nurture and enrich each family's journey while simultaneously loving on my own little family.

🫶I have also been slowing down to process the world around us and intentionally move much grief, anger, and sadness into advocacy, self-care and HOPE.

🔆I am re-envisioning how I show up in the virtual space, and I look forward to sharing more school and doula updates and educational content.

✨ Community collaboration✨
As a doula, I love being able to refer services from fellow community and birth workers who show up and nourish our community from pregnancy to postpartum🌿I often share resources from our CCCN community

Here I am showing up as family’s doula for postpartum support and Clare came and stocked the freezer with delicious broth, soups and teas for a healing postpartum recovery.

✨NEW ROLE ✨

I recently joined a newly established advisory board through the SLO County Public Health Department to help inform program and policy implementation, funding priorities, advocacy, and equity within Maternal and Child Health programs. Supporting the health and well-being of new parents and families requires strong interdisciplinary collaboration centering voices from diverse communities across organizational and government levels. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute my professional experience and education to these important conversations to improve health and outcomes on the Central Coast.

Nursing Family Partnerships is a program offering clinical and social support delivered through nurse visits from pregnancy up to two years. Call (805) 788-2068 to learn more.

✨ Feeling so grateful ✨

Doula work is not easy—it’s emotional, raw, and deeply personal. But moments like this remind me why I do it. A deeply heartfelt card and a beautiful doula affirmation bag from a thoughtful client (we shared some tears)…my heart is full. 💛

Supporting families through their birth journey is an honor, and when clients take a moment to express their gratitude, it means everything❤️ holding this space can be hard, but it is so worth it.

Love first prenatal visits as my clients prepare for their upcoming upcoming birth. Here my clients brush into the unknown with this art activity. Loved hearing the giggles 😍

Pregnancy, birth, postpartum, parenting….it can be an array of emotions.

Remember change is constant. You've got this. Hold each other through it. No matter your journey create a space and surround yourself with those who make you feel

Having babies in the NICU is a whole other 🌎 especially, two or more babies. I had a postpartum visit with my NICU family a week into postpartum and here are some highlights of the doula support offered:
