My hobbies include spending time in the mountains with my husband and kids when we have time. Most nights involve being out at the ball fields. Or doing whatever other crazy antics my kids decide to participate in.

My professional goal is to love what I do. My personal goal is to be around those I love and enjoy living life.

Nursing chose me. Every career path I took led me back to nursing. My patients are my why, when I get a simple “ thank you” I’m reassured I made the right decision. Being a home health nurse is just the icing on the top.

Meet sweet Lauren!

I’m a mom to two very active girls who keep life fun and busy! I love traveling, seeing live music, and experiencing new things whenever I can. I also really enjoy hosting game nights and spending quality time with my favorite people.

Above all, my biggest goal is to continue building a happy, healthy life with my girls and being the best mom I can be.

I’ve always had a soft heart for others, especially my patients. Nursing allows me to truly care for people during some of their most vulnerable moments, and that’s what inspires me every day to keep going.

I’ll continue growing in nursing, step into leadership, and support both patients and fellow nurses.

My name is Cierra Dunnavant, and I am a Registered Nurse with J&J Homecare, where I have proudly served for over a year. I am passionate about advancing my career by pursuing wound care certification and earning my BSN in the coming years.
My dedication to caring for others began in my late teens while supporting family members, and it continues to guide my approach to compassionate, patient-centered care. Outside of work, I am a proud mom and bonus mom to four amazing children who keep me busy with activities and sporting events. My spouse, children, and family are my biggest blessings.

I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking out, and traveling, which allows me to see and try new things. I also enjoy watching my favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees. My professional and personal goals are to be the best version of myself and focus on what's important in life. I had begun working towards the goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner but put it on brief hold; I look forward to pursuing higher education in the near future. I chose to become a nurse because my mother was a nurse, and she loved what she did. I wanted to help people just like she did, and I believe I've accomplished that. I know she would be proud of the daughter, mother, wife, and nurse she helped mold me into. 💙💥

Meet our Nurse Spotlight! đź’™

Outside of work, most of my time is spent with my husband and kids—they’re my favorite people. When I get the chance, I love being at the lake or traveling… just not nearly as often as I’d like.

Professionally, my goal is to continue building a strong, supportive team while ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care in the place they’re most comfortable—home.

I chose nursing because I’ve always had a heart for helping others, but home health truly changed everything for me. Caring for patients in their own environment, where they feel safe and supported, is such a special side of nursing—and it’s what keeps me passionate every single day.
