Elias and I completed our 3rd Kennebunk Free Library 5k Race on Friday and both managed to snag a couple of sweet PRs. šš¼ Elias blazed through with a 7:31(!!!) pace with a final time of 23:21. Jorge and I are amazed and so proud of him!
This year I finished 6th place for females at 22:10 with a 6:58 pace (down a minute and 20 seconds from 2 years ago). At level 42 I didnāt expect to run faster than I did in high school but itās never too late and youāre never too old to make magic!! of x Chris Gahm of truly have gotten me in the best shape of my life to keep me floating on this runnerās highāthank you both! ā„ļø
Iām so grateful to have this passion for runningāitās something just for myself to improve at, to show my kids you can struggle and claw your way through hard moments but not give up, and to callus the mind when things get tough. This hard work makes me a better Mom, wife and human. And I love every moment of it!
Big thanks to my dear buddy for running with meāitās always so much more fun (and calming) to have a solid partner in a race. Go Valor!!
