If I was starting from zero to get ready for ski season… here’s exactly what I’d do 👇

1️⃣ Start with capacity, not chaos.

Forget the fancy “ski prep” circuits — start with 2–3 full-body strength sessions and some steady aerobic work. You don’t need to mimic skiing yet… you need to be fit enough to ski.

2️⃣ Own your movement patterns.

Hinge, squat, rotate, balance on one leg. The more control you have here, the less your knees and hips hate you later.

3️⃣ Add intention before you dial up the intensity.

Once your base is set, then layer in power and agility. That’s how you go from “getting ready” to “ready to rip.”

100 Session Member Mikestone for Kristin Robinson!

Here’s what Coach Shannon had to say:

“Kristin came into OTA with limited strength training experience but a background in dance. She joined the gym through her cousin, Ashley Johnson, and in Kristin’s words, our job was to “whip her ass back in shape!”
Of course we would never punish anyone through exercise, but Kristin has been incredibly consistent over her time here despite an absolutely packed work and social life; its been great watching her learn strength training and trust the process of progressive overload as she continues to get stronger! Now if we could just get her to stop going on vacation every other week…”

She’s the badass of all badasses! This lady coaches & trains in Muay Thai, coaches kickboxing, and works 79 thousand hours a week with her full-time job.
