All the pain comes from the brain, and all pain is 100% real, but not all pain comes from structural damage to the body.

With structural pain, nerve signals in the body send a message to the brain to inform us of damage. With neuroplastic pain, the pain is simply a function of neural pathways in the brain. And sometimes, the brain can make a mistake, interpreting danger where there is none...and creating unnecessary pain. 🧠

Our Story

My name is Reanna Graybill, Licensed Massage Therapist, and I founded Idlewild Massage. Idlewild Massage is conveniently located in Golden, Colorado near Hwy 70. My passion for massage started at a young age when I would massage my friends when they were in pain. I have always been the “will you just rub my shoulders for a few minutes?” friend. Now, I have training and use it to help as many people as possible to help manage and eliminate pain. I work with a variety of clients including geriatric, athletes, people with painful muscle conditions and chronic pain, burn survivors, people with work-related issues, postural issues, motor vehicle accident survivors, and more. Healing and rehabilitation is unique to each person. I will work closely with each individual to create a custom care plan to help you reach your individual health and wellness goals. Also, for those with no specific issues, massage can help improve your overall wellness. I am a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals) and a graduate of Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood, CO. I am from Michigan and moved to Colorado in 2003. I enjoy hiking with my boyfriend and two pups, live music, being outdoors in the sunshine, eating healthy (and sometimes not so healthy), BBQs, and hanging out with my friends and family (when I can get them to come and visit me).
