𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠?🍽️

It’s a question I hear often, especially from women who are working to heal emotional eating while also exploring intermittent fasting for weight loss, metabolic health, or hormone balance.

And if you know about mindful eating, then this may seem like they are complete opposites.

Mindful eating asks you to slow down. To listen. To notice hunger cues. To respond to your body’s signals with compassion and curiosity. To eat when hungry and stop when full.

Intermittent fasting, on the other hand, introduces structure. It sets time windows. It says, “Eat now. Don’t eat now.”

Trauma-Informed Yoga is stepping into a new name! Beginning March 5th it will be known as Safe Space Yoga. This change has been made with the intention of helping everyone feel welcome.

We start with a slow cup of 𝐭𝐞𝐚, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞, then we practice our focused techniques.

We start with a slow cup of 𝐭𝐞𝐚, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞, then we practice our focused techniques.

Our focus this month with be "The Importance of Circularity." Classes happen on the LAST Sunday of each month.

Trauma-Informed Yoga is getting a rebrand! Beginning March 5th we’re excited to introduce it's new name, Safe Space Yoga. This change has been made with the intention of helping everyone feel welcome.

I am so happy to help people release through therapeutic massage and health coaching. I use mindfulness-based techniques to connect the mind/body/gut bringing awareness to your whole being.

I am the author of Food, Feelings and Freedom: The End to Emotional Eating which acts as a field guide to the body and mind. You will learn what foods to eat, how to break free from sugar and “unhealthy” foods and how to create some foundational habits for great health!

I love to speak, sharing my knowledge in self-compassion, mindfulness and nutrition.
