𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐢-𝐐𝐢𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐠?
It's an integrated 45-min class on the healing movements of Tai Chi and Qigong. We will practice movements from classic and modern styles of Qigong with a simplified 8-form set of movements based upon the principles of Yang style T’ai Chi. Both practices will synthesize gentle, flowing movements, rooted postures, relaxed breathing, and a tranquil mind. Often referred to as “meditation in motion!"

Class content is appropriate for beginners and intermediate students from ages 18 to 108! Accommodations will be made for a variety of fitness levels. Seated practice will be offered as requested.

As we continue our FFF series on rest consider that 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, which means that the "feel good" feeling comes easier with the little things in life! I am the author of Food, Feelings and Freedom: The End to Emotional Eating which acts as a field guide to the body and mind. You will learn what foods to eat, how to break free from sugar and “unhealthy” foods and how to create some foundational habits for great health!

I love to speak, sharing my knowledge in self-compassion, mindfulness and nutrition.
