Who else has kids who play sports? 🙋🏻♀️ I adore watching our kids grow and dive deeper into their passions.But I don’t love their smelly sports equipment. 🫣
If you’ve ever been in the car with a kid (or 3!) who’s removed their cleats after a 6 hour sports camp in 100° heat, you can commiserate 🤢
But we’re here to help! You can make a super easy, 3 ingredient, one bottle spray that you can use to rid their equipment of those funky smells.
Sports bags, cleats, pads, and helmets will smell great again. I know you can’t believe that, but it’s really NOT too good to be true.
What do you need?
* A spray bottle (a cheap plastic one will do just fine!)
* Isopropyl Alcohol (91% is what we use)
* Distilled water
* Our Cleanse blend
* Fill your spray bottle 1/4 full of the alcohol.
* Fill to almost full with the distilled water. If you’re using the sports spray quickly, tap water is fine but tap water can mold over time so don’t let it set.
* Add about 20 drops per 8 oz of spray of our Cleanse blend. This blend will overpower the alcohol scent and leave the equipment smelling fresh.
* Screw on the top, shake the mixture and spray away! It will dry quickly, killing odor causing bacteria and leaving a fresh scent 🤗
Reapply as needed (we use it after every practice and game). Finally, you won’t have to hold your breath as you go past the “sports corner” in the garage! 😉
