✨ Meet Hannah, Occupational Therapist ✨

Hannah completed her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Bridgewater College in 2019 and earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Methodist University in 2022. While pursuing her higher-level education, she developed a strong foundation and passion for outpatient orthopedic therapy. During her capstone, she created and implemented a smoking and va**ng cessation protocol to both patients and staff to improve orthopedic surgical outcomes. 

Throughout her career, Hannah has worked with a diverse range of clients, focusing on personalized care that enhances each individual’s ability to perform daily activities with greater independence. She specializes in hand therapy and is committed to staying up to date with the latest therapeutic techniques and research through continuous education. She plans to obtain her hand therapy certification (CHT) once eligible at the end of 2025. 

In addition to her professional expertise, Hannah takes pride in fostering a supportive and encouraging environments for all clients. Her approach is guided by empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to see her clients succeed. 

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys riding horses, weightlifting, and spending time with her husband and son.

✨ Meet Katie, Physical Therapist ✨

A Virginia native, Katie started her journey at James Madison University studying Exercise Science before earning both her Master’s in Athletic Training & Doctor of Physical Therapy at Shenandoah University.

After years working in outpatient orthopedics and covering rugby events as an Athletic Trainer, she went on to pursue her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Kentucky. Now back in Northern Virginia, Katie is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Physical Therapy Program at Shenandoah, where she teaches anatomy and functioning as a research advisor future PTs.

She is passionate about educating, empowering patients, and blending her love of anatomy with clinical care.

Outside of work, Katie loves family time with her husband, kid, and two miniature dachshunds, Leonardo & Dante.

✨ Meet Tim, Physical Therapist ✨

Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Salisbury University (2021) and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University (2024), where he received the Outstanding Graduate Award for his leadership, dedication, and compassion. He now serves as an adjunct professor for Shenandoah University’s DPT Program, teaching the therapeutic exercise course series. He is certified in dry needling and trained in laser, shockwave, and blood flow restriction modalities. Tim specializes in sports rehab for recreational, high school, collegiate, and elite athletes.

A former club ice hockey team president and national division player, Tim also has 9 years of experience as an ocean lifeguard for the Delaware State Beach Patrol, handling life-threatening emergencies and competing in local, regional, and national lifeguard competitions.

In his free time, Tim enjoys playing ice hockey, weightlifting, running, hiking, and exploring new breweries.

✨ Meet Amanda, Physical Therapist ✨

Amanda earned her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Liberty University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Lynchburg. Early in her career, she became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and spent several years as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.

During her time at the University of Lynchburg, Amanda served as Vice President of the Community Health Center, a student-run clinic providing care to uninsured or underinsured community members. She also led the Prosthetics and Orthotics Special Interest Group, offering free physical therapy to amputees and individuals with congenital limb differences.

Amanda has a special interest in pelvic health and working with athletes. She is trained in dry needling, Shockwave, and laser therapy modalities.

Outside of work, she loves weightlifting, exploring new restaurants, and attending sporting events with her husband.

It’s a great day to be a part of the Infinity Performance PT family! Today, our incredible Physical Therapists, Dr. Cabral and Dr. Staudmyer, just completed their 1st marathon at the 50th Anniversary of the Marine Corps Marathon, that took place throughout Washington DC! 🇺🇸🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

And here’s the best part: they both finished with an amazing sub-4 hour time! ⏱️🔥

We couldn’t be more proud of their hard work, dedication, and resilience. They crushed it! 💪

Here’s to setting goals, smashing them, and being part of a community that celebrates every victory, big or small.

✨ Meet Inez, Physical Therapist ✨

Inez currently serves as the Clinical Manager at our Tyson’s location and the Site Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE) for physical therapy students. She earned her Bachelor’s in Human Nutrition, Food, and Exercise from Virginia Tech and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. During her time at Shenandoah, she received the Dean’s Award, Highest Cumulative GPA, and Best Seminar Presentation, and was inducted into the ACAPT National Physical Therapy Student Honor Society for her service, leadership, and character.

A local at heart, Inez grew up in Sterling and loves exploring new running trails. Now living in DC, she continues to live an active lifestyle and is passionate about helping patients return to the activities they love. She is trained in dry needling, Shockwave, and Laser modalities, with special interests in working with pelvic health, runners, post-operative patients, high school athletes, and post-stroke rehabilitation.

Beyond patient care, Inez is an adjunct professor for Shenandoah University’s DPT Program, teaching the musculoskeletal course series.

Dr. Polson, recently provided her assistance with the “So Kids SOAR” Adaptive Therapeutic Horse Riding clinic, at the Cloverleaf Equine Center in Clifton, VA.🐎

This clinic allowed youth with special needs to enjoy a fun morning on the farm, with an opportunity to interact with the horses and experience therapeutic horse riding.

So Kids SOAR is a non-profit organization that “provides free adaptive athletic, recreational, and skill-building activities that empower the youth with physical and develomental disabilities to Strive, Own, Achieve, and Realize their potential.”

✨ Meet Matt, Physical Therapist ✨

Matt has over 25 years of experience in physical therapy, specializing in orthopedic care, foot health, and sports performance. He earned his Master’s from Old Dominion University and Doctorate from Arcadia University and is a Board-Certified Pedorthist and Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

A former collegiate soccer player and youth coach, Matt has treated patients of all ages—from kids on horseback to professional athletes. He’s also a RRCA-certified running coach, helping runners of all levels train smarter and stay injury-free. In addition, Matt has taught at DeSales University and was faculty for St. Luke’s Orthopedic Residency Program for 10 years.

✨ Meet Courtney, Physical Therapist ✨

With over 15 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, Courtney helps patients of all ages recover, prevent injuries, and return to the activities they love. She earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Springfield College and her Doctorate from Temple University.

A lifelong athlete and former collegiate player, Courtney has a special interest in high school athletes and is certified in ACL injury prevention. She also specializes in Integrative Manual Therapy, supporting patients with chronic pain, nerve injuries, and post-operative recovery—including knee & hip replacements, ACL, and rotator cuff repairs.

Outside the clinic, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, staying active, and playing sports with her family.
