Acorn Health’s Clinical Readiness Program is helping new clinicians start strong.

Our Registered Behavior Technicians achieve a 94% first-time pass rate on the RBT exam, well above the national average of 74%. More importantly, they begin their clinical roles confident and prepared to deliver compassionate, high-quality ABA therapy.

By investing in structured, hands-on training, we’re supporting both clinician development and meaningful outcomes for the children and families we serve.

Last week our Downtown Orlando team took time to recognize one another for Employee Appreciation Day.

Supporting children and families takes patience, creativity, and a lot of heart. Our clinicians bring that into their work every single day with the kids they serve.

We’re grateful for this incredible team. 💙💚

Happy 5th Birthday to our Longwood clinic! 🎉

Our team recently celebrated this milestone together with fun, laughter, and of course, some signature Acorn cookies.

What makes our clinics special isn’t just the work we do, but the community we build together every day.

Thank you to our incredible Longwood team and the families we serve for making the past five years so meaningful. Here’s to many more! 💙💚

Last week, members of our Tawas and Alpena teams attended the 2026 BAAM Conference, hosted by the Behavior Analysis Association of Michigan, alongside professionals from across the state dedicated to advancing high-quality applied behavior analysis services.

We’re especially proud that Paul Doher, M.A., BCBA, LBA, National Director of Clinical Quality, presented on:

“Equipping Clinicians with the Skills They Need to Successfully Treat Severe Behavior without Sacrificing Quality or Outcomes.”

His session focused on strengthening clinical decision-making while upholding ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

Conferences like BAAM ensure our clinicians stay current on research, refine their expertise, and continue raising the standard of care for the children and families we serve.💙💚

During Black History Month, we are reflecting on what culturally responsive care truly means in applied behavior analysis.

Providing high quality ABA therapy goes beyond evidence based strategies. It includes cultural humility, active listening, and meaningful partnership with families. Every child we serve brings their own strengths, traditions, communication styles, and lived experiences, and those factors matter in assessment, goal selection, and intervention planning.

At Acorn Health, individualized care means culturally informed care. We remain committed to ongoing learning and to creating clinical environments where every child and family feels respected, understood, and supported.
