Turner County Friends- My family and I will be collecting items needed by our neighboring communities as they recover from hurricane Helene ♥️

I am reposting a list compiled by Amy Henderson at Tiftarea Academy. She has done an amazing job at organizing relief efforts! If you would like to drop off any items, you can bring them to my office at any time. There is a bench outside of my door and I will bring the items inside in between sessions if I don’t catch you when you come. We will get everything where it needs to go!

If you would like to contribute financially, please consider donating to peanut butter & Jesus in Tifton, as they are providing hundreds of meals daily!

If you cannot contribute, please continue to pray for all those affected!

The following items have been named as specific needs:

Wish List:
pop tarts or any breakfast items for kids besides granola bars

Individually wrapped snack cakes or chips

juice, especially toddler juices

coloring books and crayons, things for kids - they are not going back to school for at least 3 weeks in most areas they need things to occupy their time!

cleaning supplies - trash bags, Clorox wipes, laundry detergent etc
bug spray, Benadryl cream -
battery operated fans,
charcoal,
toddler snacks,
packets to make lemonade etc in water bottles,
diapers - not size 4,
Body wipes,
feminine products
Toiletry items

Some areas now have power but people are out of work with no money to buy things so canned spaghetti o’s, noodles etc that can be heated up easily- are welcome.
