I enjoyed spending time with the amazing team at Fyzical/Restore Physical Therapy in Ashburn yesterday discussing TMJ and Oral-Muscular therapies aimed at alleviating pain and discomfort.

When treating TMJ and Facial Pain, I depend on detailed diagnostics and a range of treatment modalities to ensure long-term success. From Joint Vibration Analysis and iTero Bite Scans to radiographic imaging, muscle palpation, and a detailed medical and social history — a proper and thorough evaluation of your signs and symptoms helps me determine the best combination of therapies that will stabilize your condition and fit into your lifestyle.

As with most chronic issues — TMJ disorders are impacted by a multitude of factors, some of which are outside my scope of practice. Happy birthday to my sweet Hudson! As my fellow parents know… raising a good human can be challenging — especially at this age when our kiddos are navigating emotions, demanding increased independence (while still craving mommy snuggles 🥰 ), testing their boundaries, and conning us into buying all of the legos… Anyway, I wanted to give a quick shout out to all the moms, dads, grandparents, aunties and uncles that told me these past 5 years to “enjoy every moment, because these years go fast.” 💕 I have taken these words to heart and do everything I can to find joy and peace in parenthood.

The words of encouragement, understanding, and simple kindness from our patients and my incredible team have empowered me in ways I cannot eloquently express. It truly takes a village.
