We loved welcoming Brian to the practice and helping him see and appreciate his oral health in a completely new way. Comprehensive dentistry isn’t about finding disease, but also taking note of where your health is today so can detect changes in the future. Our iTero wellness scans, dslr photography, and digital X-rays help our team communicate areas of concern, celebrate when conditions are improved, and record changes over time — so our patients can make informed and confident decisions regarding their oral and systemic health.

I also loved learning that Brian has been working with UPS for years. And while he doesn’t serve our route, I got a chance to thank him for all the hard work he does to make sure the many other small businesses like mine get the goods we need to serve our community. And he got a chance to see how all of the iTero and Invisalign goods he hauls changes people’s lives. 🤎 This appointment was — for me — a wonderful reminder of how we all play a role in this ecosystem called life and are more connected than we think. 🥰

✨ Vibe Check ✨ As we move into spring after a pretty wintry winter (anyone else feel like it lasted 14928 days?)… I’ve been working with our team to freshen up our dress code to better reflect our professionalism, team culture, and elevated care. 💁🏻‍♀️

Naturally, our fantastically charming patient coordinator, Alex, found a cardigan on Pinterest that is… maybe… a bit too literal. 😅

I love how serving our community has connected me with amazing patients and fellow business owners over the years. And it’s fun to realize how connected we all are. 🫶🏽

This post also doubles as a reminder of how busy our lives can get and in-person connection can get tougher with kids, work-commitments, and life just being life. Care worth flying for 🛫 While we always have patients traveling from all corners of the DMV to experience our level of patient care, we also welcome patients from out of state (and sometimes overseas!) who travel hundreds of miles because of trust. 🥹

As a faculty member with , my role is to help elevate and educate fellow clinicians… but I always find myself experiencing my own growth at each of these weekend courses. This community of docs — students and instructors alike — is comprised of the most supportive, genuine, and energetic group of humans. 🫶🏽

This weekend I am returning home being reminded why us dentists do what we do… to share our expertise and joy with the world. Inspiring and healing smiles. Changing lives with our artistry. ✨

Because of my investment in advanced dental education and team development, I have been able to bring my vision of a comprehensive, relationship-based dental practice to life. And my patients are healthier and more confident under my team’s care. As always, I look forward to returning back to my practice on Monday knowing that I am providing a higher level of dental care and human connection than other dental clinics.

These Olympic athletes have me leaning into being my most authentic self ( you are a queen!!), so here’s my unpolished announcement from my kitchen… Due to the snowy weather, we will be opening the practice to patient care on a 2-hour delay on Monday February 23rd to allow patients and team members ample time to get to their appointments safely. I will continue to monitor road conditions throughout the evening and into the morning. My fingers are crossed that roads will clear up — because small business owners and moms across the region can handle another snow storm! 😅🫠

Lunch with the gals! During the day we are always on the go — moving together in a coordinated effort to care for our patients and support each other. So it’s nice to slow down, share good food, and catch up on each other’s lives. I’m always thankful for my team and the work they put in. 🫶🏽 Work-life balance isn’t just for after-hours. 🍲

As an educator and clinician, I am always learning and leaning into opportunities to grow. Dental technology is ever-changing and I love investing in the latest gadgets — but sometimes putting the technology into use can be daunting! And, honestly, some technology has been sitting on my desk starting at me with longing eyes waiting to be put to good use. 🫠

I am so thankful for the folks at for putting together courses that help me gain greater understanding and confidence in implementing an even greater digital workflow in my private practice. I’m excited to put my education to work on Monday and to see how my team and patients are positively impacted by my strengthened knowledge! 🙌🏽
