Hey guys! It's been awhile! I didnt mean for so much time to go by before reopening, but sometimes life has other plans. I'm still here! Still alive! And will slowly be reopening as I can. For awhile I'll only be doing ready to ship items and once I start getting better, when I can I'll open back up for custom orders.
If you want to know what's been going down with us, keep reading, if not stay tuned, in the next few days I'll have my new site up with some ready to ship items and some reopening sales!!!
So last time I posted we were buying our first house! Due to time restraints we set up a buyer possession before closing ( Dont ever due that 😖) and we had moved all of our things in. Well the day after we finally found out what was holding us up was an unclean title to the property. So we ended up having to move everything from that house into my folks house until we could figure out or next sets.
Well a few days later, moving the last of or things out of the rental, driving to the storage unit my heart was acting up. I have SVT so it's not unusual for my heart rate to get high, but this time my heart decided to stop beating to reset for a little too long. I ended up passing out and totaling the car. Thankfully everyone was ok, even the ducks, just the car was ruined. They think it was the stress, svt and a nasty kidney infection. It had never happened before and has happened since.
Well in the next month we found a perfect piece of property and a beautiful house to put on it and started that long process. In the meantime I had a major kidney stone surgery and some related issues following that. By July things were settling down, our house was looking like it would be done in the next month or two.
Well the end of July I had a surprise! I found out I was pregnant. It was a rather stressful time due to our history of loss and the fact that it looked like I would be dealing with Hyperemesis Gravidium once again.
By the end of August we were in our new home and Markus started his first year of school! I'm so grateful for our friends and family, without them we would never have made into the house with how sick I was.
The first week of September I was hospitalized for the first time. A week of IV fluids and trying different medications to try and get it under control and I was released home. Little did I know that was just the start. By 10 weeks they had to place an NG tube during another hospital stay. That didnt work so they changed to an NJ tube. That helped for a bit but I kept throwing them up. But to keep this part short and sweet, I suffered through 8 NG/NJ placements, 1 NJ with mucosal clips and finally ended up with a Surgically placed j tube at 28 weeks. I spent more time admitted in the hospital then at home, and lost over 35% of my body weight. (I'll share my HG story later for those who are interested)
Well at 32 weeks my body could sustain any more. Our baby girl was in distress and needed to be born. She came out fighting on February 19th at 2pm. A whopping 3lbs 13oz. She was perfect. She had a very long 7 week stay in the NICU battling fights of her own but made it home the week before her due date.
HG has left me dependent on my j tube and in kidney failure borderline liver failure. Had to have another surgery in June where they removed over 40 kidney stones. But I'm already plagued with them again daily. But my body is trying to heal. Illyanna is doing great and show no signs that she ever had a rough start to life. She is the light of our lives, and such a huge blessing to all of us. Markus finally has that sibling he had been begging for since he was 18 months old.
So, you see, it's been a bit of a crazy ride. I'm finally in a place that I feel comfortable slowly opening. I hope you all have been doing good. Let me know what's been going on in your lives!!
