We at Gentiva Hospice are honored to host our upcoming Memorial Service, a time set aside to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have passed away over the past year. It has been our privilege to serve them, and every patient we care for remains in our hearts. 💜

This service is deeply meaningful to both the families and our staff, as we pause to honor the love and memories that live on. We are grateful to our very own Chaplain, Tommy Kidd, who leads this special service each year with compassion and care.

Have you ever wanted to make a meaningful impact in someone’s life just by being there? Our hospice volunteers are a special part of the care we provide — offering comfort, companionship, and compassion during life’s most tender moments.

Whether it’s reading to a patient, offering a listening ear, or simply sharing quiet time, your presence matters more than you know.

✨ A Story That Reminds Us Why This Matters ✨
One of our incredible volunteers recently went above and beyond for a patient in our care. The patient and his twin brother were celebrating their 80th birthday — a milestone filled with love, memories, and quiet reflection.

Knowing how much this meant, the volunteer surprised them both with cupcakes, candles and all. The joy, the smiles, the laughter shared over those cupcakes filled the room with warmth. It wasn’t just a birthday treat — it was a moment of pure connection, love, and dignity.

💛 That’s the power of hospice volunteering. Small acts. Big hearts. Lifelong memories.
