Join me for “Roots in the Storm” A Free Community Breathwork Ceremony for Healing After Helene. **Limited Spots available - I will update this post when all spots are filled**
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, so much was lost - homes, trees, memories, and the steady ground beneath our feet. But amidst the wreckage, something remains unshakable: our breath, our bodies, and our connection to the Earth and each other.
This ceremonial breathwork journey will offer a sacred space to grieve, to remember, and to reclaim what cannot be taken. It was an honor to work with several of you and hold space post Helene - and I am grateful to be able to share my skills as a Trauma Informed Breathwork Facilitator during this special ceremony.
What to Expect::
We’ll begin by gathering in a circle, creating a safe and sacred container to acknowledge our grief and share intentions. Through grounding somatic practices and gentle ritual, we’ll honor both personal and collective losses. All sharing is always optional.
You will then be guided into a conscious connected breathwork session, a deeply transformative style of breathing that invites emotional release, insight, and nervous system healing.
This journey uses circular breathing - a continuous inhale and exhale without pause - to activate your inner healer and open a gateway to altered states of awareness, where the body can process trauma and restore balance naturally.
After the breathwork, we’ll close with grounding practices, integration time, and optional sharing.
The entire ceremony will last about 90 minutes.
Please Bring:
A yoga mat, small pillow, and a blanket to create your personal nest
A water bottle
An open heart and willingness to feel and heal
This offering is free, in devotion to the healing of our community, but space is limited to 15 participants. (Spots will fill quickly - you may want to rsvp sooner than later!)
