At Mandolin Rain, we believe in providing our therapists a comfortable and supportive work environment, with regular growth opportunities for those looking to help us expand our practice. While our base rate starts at $35 an hour plus tips, therapists looking to build regular clientele can expect a $15 bonus per re-scheduled appointment, providing regular opportunities for advancement based on skills and client retention. Additionally, regular clientele will be provided upon employment.
We are looking for a candidate who will be available to work with us two days a week for a minimum of four to six months in order to maintain regularity with our client base. A minimum of a year of experience is optimal. Availability every-other Saturday is currently required for the position, with the other weekday being the therapist's choice, although afternoon/evening hours are preferred.
With gratitude towards the value each of our therapists provide to our company, we offer an array of benefits to help support work/life balance, family health and wellness, and job satisfaction. These include sheets, blankets, table warmers, essential oils, and bolsters being provided for every session booked through our company, weekly compensation, a 55% massage discount for friends and family members of therapists working for our company, the ability to adjust one's schedule as needed through our booking system, and option to take up to 30 minutes between appointments to rest/recover in between sessions. Additionally, for those with a few clients of their own, the ability to rent our space by the hour is provided for those looking to work with personal clientele on the side.
The owner, Analyn Flores, who is also a massage therapist and has worked for other spa's before opening her own practice in October of 2023, will conduct a paid interview session for applicants, and is available for her therapists as needed.tjo
