Next weekend not only marks SIX years of being a licensed massage therapist, it also marks the beginning of my journey in becoming certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD for short)! I cannot wait.

140 to 300 million people suffer worldwide from lymphedema, which is the most common lymphatic system disruption/dis-ease.

It is truly a fascinating system (the lymphatic system, as well as MLD) and I'm very excited to learn about how I can help even more people through this modality. It is a gentle approach with incredible results. The only way I can describe it is ✨magic✨. What a gift to be able to help one another heal with our hands. I am so grateful. 🙏🫶

This is your reminder to gift yourself a nice full body stretch this morning to start your day and week off on the right foot. If you are waking up stiff and maybe even have slight pain in some areas - chances are that you could really benefit from a good stretch, and it can and often will reduce the stiffness and pain you are experiencing. Don't forget to breathe through your stretches and go slow, try to really be present with the sensations in your body as do each stretch. What an amazing and simple thing we can do to take care of ourselves! ☺️ Thank you for taking care of you!!! 🫶👏

P.S. if you have received bodywork from me - you know about this pin and stretch technique I use with almost all of my clients. (Shown in the picture below) It targets the piriformis muscle, with the goal of preventing and/or getting rid of ✨sciatica✨
