We know many of you are still hurting from the impacts of Helene. We are with you. When we woke up after Helene hit and saw the damage impacting our community, it was hard to comprehend. As soon as we had assessed the situation we jumped in and became a central hub for relief efforts, coordinating resources, distributing aid, and supporting those most affected.

That support continues. We have mental health counselors available to help those in need. If you are continuing to feel the effects please reach out.

Helene brought unprecedented challenges, but also deepened our partnerships, broadened our reach, and reaffirmed our mission. JFS is not only a source of help in times of crisis but a steady

As we approach the one year anniversary of Helene we want to offer our support to all who have been impacted. We know it was an extraordinarily difficult time followed by months of rebuilding that still to this day continues. And the ongoing emotional impacts are significant.
