There’s something powerful about gathering with others who are leading and thinking deeply about the future of mental health care.

Our fearless leader, Eric Levine, and founding Visionary, Lisbeth Riis Cooper, attended the annual ARTA Leaders Conference these past few days, connecting with peers from across the country who are committed to strengthening residential treatment. Being part of the ARTA community is a gift, and we’re excited to carry that inspiration forward.

“Be a bush if you can’t be a tree. If you can’t be a highway, be a trail. If you can’t be a sun, be a star. For it isn’t by size that you win or fail. Be the best of whatever you are.”
Dr. Martin Luther King.

Please take some time today to remember the importance of Dr. King's words. It seems more important than ever.

Good morning and Happy New Year!

“Pat Dockendorf is marking her 20th year at CooperRiis this year. For those unfamiliar with Pat, she is 98 years old and will soon turn 99! She frequently calls alums and enjoys hearing inspiring stories from their post-CooperRiis journeys. Her secret to a long life is staying active and living with purpose and intention. Pat truly embodies the spirit of CooperRiis, and I am grateful to know her and appreciate all that she has contributed and continues to contribute. Hopefully, we can all be so lucky.

Below, she is pictured with our fantastic Admissions Team at a recent event at the Farm. From left to right: Pat, Sharon, Amanda, Emily, and Jennifer—a dedicated and hardworking group.”

Respectfully yours
Eric Levine
