Hello dearest clients, friends, and family. My heart is deeply saddened by the catastrophic effects hurricane Helene has had on our community. I am safe, as many of you know I left for my other home in New Orleans only days before. Now, more than ever, it is inportant to care for one another. I have seen the people of Appalachia coming together to care for one another and reshape our communities with our own hands. Regardless of color, creed, or political identity, we remember that it is our neighbors who will lend us their hands in time of need. Because the area is still fragile, and they are telling people not to be there at the moment, I have decided to wait and come back to the area until November and December. I will be texting everyone over the next couple days, and make sure we reschedule dates. I have been donating to many mutual aide groups in town while I am away, and when I get back to town I’d like to offer free reiki to all clients, and work something out with folks who can’t afford to pay right now. For those that can pay, a percentage of my proceeds will be going to more mutual aide groups on Appalachia. Blessings for healing far and wide. My heart is with you all.
