When most people hear the word 'yoga', they think of stretching or exercise. But yoga was never meant to be just a workout. It is an ancient system designed to calm the nervous system and restore inner balance.

The great yoga scholar Georg Feuerstein taught that yoga is a complete path of transformation, not just something we do with the body, but a way to steady the mind, regulate the breath, and bring the whole system back into harmony.

Through
Asanas (postures),
Pranayama (breath),
Mudras (hand gestures),
Mantra (sound), and
Meditation (dhyana),
We gently shift out of stress and survival mode and into a state of safety, presence, and ease.

This is why yoga feels so grounding and healing.

It’s not about perfect poses.

It’s about teaching your body and nervous system how to rest, soften, and feel at home again.

This is the yoga I love to share: slow, intentional, and deeply supportive.

You don’t have to be calm.
You don’t have to be grounded.
You don’t have to be okay.

You just have to arrive.

Arrive in your body.
Arrive in this breath.
Arrive exactly as you are.

So many of us learned that love had to be earned by being “better,” quieter, stronger, more spiritual.

But the Root Chakra teaches something very different:

You belong because you exist.

This weekwe begin by practicing the most radical thing of all: letting the body feel held without needing to change.

If your nervous system has been tired, guarded, or overwhelmed, you are exactly who this work is for.

This year, I’m teaching in a way that feels very different from anything I’ve done before, and I wanted to share that with you here.

Instead of moving from theme to theme or following what’s trending, I’m devoting this year to something much more intentional: a slow, embodied journey through the chakra system, from the Root all the way to the Crown.

I’m doing this because real healing doesn’t happen in pieces. It happens when the whole system is met: the body, the breath, the nervous system, the heart, and the deeper layers of who we are.

Each chakra holds a different story, a different kind of tension, and a different doorway back into balance. When we work with them in order, something profound begins to unwind.

This isn’t about fixing yourself.

It’s about coming home to yourself.

Through my online yoga and meditation classes, we’ll be moving gently, patiently, and with care, allowing safety, emotional flow, clarity, compassion, truth, and ultimately grace to re-emerge in the body.

You don’t need to have any special experience to be part of this. You only need a willingness to show up and be with yourself as you are.

I also want you to know that I will be using this page in a more intentional way this year. I’ll be sharing reflections, teachings, and gentle reminders here, not to overwhelm you, but to support you. To help you deepen your practice, feel less alone, and remember what your body already knows.

Whether you’ve been practicing with me for years or you’re just finding your way here, you are welcome. I’m grateful you’re here, and I’m honored to be walking this path alongside you.

As we step into September, our yoga and meditation journey unfolds into what I’m calling the Season of Miracles. For the next several months, we will be weaving the teachings of A Course in Miracles into our practice, bringing these timeless lessons alive through breath, movement, stillness, and heart.

This is a sacred invitation to shift from fear into love, to release what no longer serves, and to open to the healing that is always available. If you haven’t been to class in a while, now is the perfect moment for a return. Your heart already knows the way.

This week’s Full Moon in Pisces and Lunar Eclipse amplifies our practice beautifully. Pisces calls us to surrender, to trust the flow, and to let go of control. Eclipses illuminate what is ready to be released so that something new and more aligned can enter. Together, we’ll use this energy to soften, heal, and awaken to the miraculous.

So many of us are moving through change right now—new beginnings, endings, shifts in identity, uncertainty about what’s next.

In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna doesn’t give Arjuna a map—he becomes his charioteer, guiding him from within. The message is timeless:
