My practice is in Asheville, NC. at Chapel Hill in 1973 with a B.A. in Psychology My patients say that I am a caring, compassionate person.

I earned my master's degree in Clinical Social Work in 1978 at the University of Illinois at Champaign, Urbana and I graduated from the University of N.C. I have worked with patients in a diverse range of unique situations, and helped them work out their own practical and effective solutions. I get a great deal of satisfaction when my patients feel understood, become happier and feel that they are resolving their issues. I have considerable experience working with children, adolescents and families, especially in the areas of LGBT acceptance and adjustment. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 35 years of experience, offering Individual, Couples and Family therapy, and I am "In-Network" for most health insurers. I work out of a comfortable, private office in the historic Flat Iron Building in downtown Asheville, with convenient public parking.
