This one is a long one, but it’s good so hang with me. When I stepped in as the administrator at Elevate I had exactly zero idea of what I was doing beyond, we have to be better. In keeping with that goal, we have worked with several agencies and organizations to up the ante for our residents. Today was a full circle moment for us. Asheville Police Department, Biltmore Church, Asheville Country Day, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes all came out to show some big love and care to our residents. They brought gifts, handmade cards, smiles, and fellowship to our residents. (A first in the almost three years I’ve been with Elevate) I cannot tell you how very grateful I am for each connection our residents get to make, each smile they receive, and each special moment they get to experience. It is my heartfelt wish that we may continue to develop community ties that create a better, more beautiful home for each of these precious souls. I cannot thank our guests today enough, you each brought that special Christmas magic that makes the season so special.
