From Surviving to Thriving after breast cancer diagnosis
Tip 4: Fighting Fatigue 💞
Cancer fatigue is more than “just being tired.” It’s deep, unrelenting, and often something that just getting more sleep doesn't fix.
🌻 Move daily. The short, slow neighborhood walk may be your best friend.
🌻 Rest daily- even if you are just laying down for 30 min. in the middle of the day
🌻 Ask for a PT referral to an Oncology Specialist-LIKE ME!🙂Developing a cardiovascular endurance exercise plan specifically for YOU is key.

Your energy will return, one small step at a time.

From Surviving to Thriving after breast cancer diagnosis
Tip3:

Coping with Chemo Brain 🧠
Forget why you walked into a room? Trouble focusing? Word finding difficulty? It’s not just you — CHEMO BRAIN is real. Attention, Executive Function, and Memory are all affected by many cancer treatments.
💡 Stay organized with notes, planners, or phone reminders.
💡 Exercise regularly — it boosts brain power!
💡 Ask your oncologist for a Speech Therapy Referral for Cancer Related Cognitive Impairment. This therapy will boost your recovery substantially.
💡 Be kind to yourself — healing takes time.
Healing takes patience, inside and out. You’ve got this 💪

From surviving to thriving after breast cancer diagnosis:
Tip 2:
Easing Joint & Muscle Pain 💪
Aching joints after treatment? You’re not alone — many therapies can cause stiffness and soreness.
Here’s how to find relief:
🌿 Stay active: MOVE your body
🌿 Stay active: JOIN an exercise class tailored for your needs
🌿 Gentle repetitive stretches are super helpful
🌿 Talk to your oncologist about all of your pain — medication adjustments often help

Movement is medicine. Your body’s strength is still yours — reclaim and own it! 💕

Survivorship doesn’t just mean the cancer is gone; it’s about regaining quality of life and managing ongoing or late-emerging effects from treatment
