We're looking for a Phone receptionist/Scheduler
Job description:
Full time with benefits - M-F 35-40 hours per week
We are a drug free campus, pre-employment drug screening and background check required
Position is responsible for answering initial calls to
our practice. Duties include scheduling patients, routing
phone calls, messages and customer service.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Spends a majority of the day sitting with headset (earpiece and microphone) on the phone Some bending and stooping required.Requires lifting up to 30 pounds.Over 30 pounds requires assistance. Requires manual dexterity to maneuver for operating office equipment. Keyboard/typing ability, familiarity with electronic health record scheduling.
Ability to Multi-task is important
Visual activity required to operate computer and data entry Eye and hand coordination and finger dexterity needed to enter data and reviewing software. Must be able to read and generate written communication and documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, providers, peers, supervisor & others. Must have pleasant & clear speaking voice and ability to remain calm with patients that may be anxious, worried or agitated.
Must be familiar with and have basic computer skills for operation of our Electronic Health Record program.
Position requires pleasant and engaging phone personality.
Medical Office experience is preferred
