Cleaning? But make it competitive. 20 minutes, great music, bonus points, and a clean kitchen = total win. Who else needs a “Turbo Clean” challenge in their life?

Abby Jo and I accidentally created our new favorite system while speed-cleaning the kitchen. We cranked up the music, set a 20-minute timer, and just went for it. And right when time was almost up, I challenged myself to finish the dishes in 5 more minutes.

Abby Jo goes: “I’ll give you 20 bonus points if you do it!”
Cue dopamine surge, celebration dance, and serious motivation.

Now we’re hooked — chores + a timer + bonus points = cleaning magic ✨

And yes, she’s cashing those points in for something good 😄

Just back from my morning walk — bonnet on, curls protected ( 💁‍♀️). You know that satisfying moment when you open a fresh roll of doggie bags? ✨

Yeah... until that sticky little tab rips a hole in the first bag.
Worse? Not realizing until you’re mid-scoop. 🙃 And then it happens… 💩➡️✋

To the companies who make these bags: I love you, but please, fix the adhesive! That's my polite morning rant. Wishing you clean hands and well-sealed bags out there. 😂🐾

Hey, Braid Talk here 💁‍♀️ and it’s time you met our family alter ego: Mama Oak 🌳

She’s named after strength and wisdom... but she’s the total opposite (in the best way). Mama Oak only shows up on very special occasions like Trader Joe’s runs.

She lets us eat all the sweets 🍨, watch all the TV 📺, and has zero rules. Basically, she’s way more fun than a regular mom.

Highlights include:

✨ Cheesecake brownie squares you’re not waiting 2 hours to defrost
