It feels absolutely wild that Resilient Mind Counseling turns 5 years old tomorrow as a group practice.

What started as a small private practice back in 2017 blossomed into a thriving group practice, employing incredible humans from all over the country.

Our mission has always been to help people feel less alone. Especially those who find themselves multiply marginalized, and in the neurodivergent, LGBTQIA +, and Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Asian communities.

In 2025, we had over 22,000 sessions, and helped over 2500 clients in and across North Carolina.

As we go into a New Year, don't wait to ask for help. Life is way too short to put it off. You deserve healing and support.

Today we pause, honor, and name the Trans and gender-diverse lives taken by violence, discrimination, and a world that too often refuses to see people’s humanity.

This day isn’t just about grief — though there is grief.
It’s about witnessing.
It’s about responsibility.
It’s about loudly affirming that Trans people deserve to live, thrive, love, and exist safely in every single space.

As a community, as allies, and as human beings, we owe Trans and gender-diverse people more than thoughts and prayers. We owe action. We owe protection. We owe advocacy. We owe unwavering solidarity — not just today, but every day.

To the Trans community:
We see you. We honor you. Your existence is powerful. Your identity is sacred. You deserve safety, joy, belonging, and a world that celebrates you without condition.

To allies and those who want to be better ones:
Listen to Trans voices.
